Recycling Extravaganza – Overland Park

Is it time to let go of some stuff? Overland Park will host a Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday, April 22. Bring your confidential documents (for shredding); electronics (fees may apply); mattresses and box springs (fee applies); unwanted medications and items that are in reusable condition such as building materials, clothing and shoes, toys, eyeglasses, furniture, pet supplies, musical instruments and bikes. The event will run from 8 am to 2 pm at Black & Veatch (11401 Lamar Avenue). More information on the city’s website. There is no residency requirement to attend this event.
