What to do with prescriptions and medications
Expired, unwanted, or unused prescriptions and medications are dangerous to have around the house. Many pharmacies and police stations offer free, on-site drop boxes for prescriptions and medications.

Prescription and Medication Bottles

Prescription and over-the-counter medication bottles are not recyclable. Animal shelters will occasionally accept empty prescription bottles for donation. They reuse them for animal medications. Always contact first.
